During the night, Bart became victim of a crime, his beloved Land Rover 130 was stolen from his barn in Coevorden (NL) During this theft, one of his other Land Rovers was damaged by the ride out. The day after, Bart received a call from the police that they just found his Land Rover. But the unfortunate 130 was totally burned-out to its chassis…
Was it for export, was it for joy-riding or was it personal.. no one knows, but fact is that someone became victim of a useless crime…
Bart promised to build his Land Rover back from scrap, for sure the Phoenix will return stronger then ever!

May 22nd 2006 Mr.R Williams, treasurer to WBCR, mentioned that the stolen Land Rover was abandoned in forestry less than 10 miles from the base and it appears to be in a good condition. WBCR was very pleased with the news. All organized donations will need invested into a tracker system, repair of the damage to the stores after the theft, upgrading the security (steel doors, monitored alarm etc) and replace stolen equipment.
